Lynne Millican is a former RN who had to retire due to side effects from the GnRHa (Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone Analog) drug Lupron, which she took for endometriosis and in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Lynne and David discuss the wide range of conditions for which the drug is used (but never approved for most), including the increasingly popular diagnosis of gender dysphoria. Lynne’s research has uncovered an even wider range of side effects, some of opposite to claims about the benefits of the drug, such as reduced ovarian function and cessation of menstruation, in a drug that is supposed to increase the chance of getting pregnant. Despite her disabilities Lynne has struggled for years to make more information on the adverse effects of Lupron known, starting a website, and assisting with legal cases. But despite this the FDA seems determined to protect the licensing of the drug, and has rebuffed contrary information, including a major review by licensed MD Dr. Redwine.
